About Amorati
Amorati is a Nashville-based fine jewelry brand built specifically for online buyers who want certified, conflict-free diamonds without the markup, pressure, or guesswork of a traditional jewelry store. Every lab-grown diamond ships with an independent IGI grading report (engagement-center mined stones are graded by IGI or GIA), every order is fully insured in transit, and every piece is backed by our 30-Day Love-It Guarantee with free, insured returns. Our Concierge team is non-commissioned, so you'll never be upsold.
Because we believe meaningful moments deserve to be remembered beautifully. Amorati was founded in Nashville by two long-time business partners and friends who saw jewelry the way it had been passed down in their own families — as memories made tangible. The warmth of a grandmother's earrings. The ring that marked a hard-won "yes." The necklace that says, I did it. Our collections are designed around real-life moments so every piece becomes an intentional keepsake you carry forward, one story and one generation at a time.
That meaning is built on real craftsmanship: only F-color, VS+ lab-grown diamonds hand-matched for uniform light return (our "Twin Standard"), heavier 14K gold settings engineered to outlast daily life (our "Light-Armor"), independent IGI certification on every diamond, and a non-commissioned concierge team that's there to help. And throughout the year, we invite you into the moments themselves through our curated experiences — Black-Tie Nights, Bridal Affair Brunches, Nashville High Tea, and Jazz & Jewels — because the jewelry we make is designed to remember exactly this kind of memory. Read more on Our Story.
Amorati is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. We're an online-first brand, so most of our customers shop and consult with us from home through our virtual Concierge, which means side-by-side comparisons, styling advice, and live video appointments. We also host in-person Amorati Moments events throughout the year, including Black-Tie Nights, Bridal Affair Brunches, Nashville High Tea, and Jazz & Jewels, where you can see and try pieces in person.
Diamonds & Jewelry
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are 100% real diamonds — chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds. They have the same hardness (10 on the Mohs scale), the same refractive index (2.42), and the same crystalline carbon structure. The only difference is origin: ours are grown above ground in advanced laboratories rather than extracted from the earth. Every loose stone we sell is IGI-certified so you have independent proof of the 4Cs. Learn more about grown diamonds here.
Lab-grown diamonds are created using one of two scientific processes that replicate the conditions deep inside the earth where mined diamonds form. In High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT), a tiny diamond seed is placed in pure carbon and exposed to ~1,500°C and ~1.5 million PSI until the carbon crystallizes onto the seed. In Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), a carbon-rich gas is energized in a vacuum chamber so carbon atoms settle onto a seed layer by layer. Both methods take a few weeks and produce a real diamond — identical to a mined stone in every measurable way.
Lab-grown and mined diamonds are chemically and optically identical — same brilliance, same hardness, same fire. The differences are origin, price, and impact. Lab-grown diamonds typically cost 40–70% less than a comparable mined stone, which means you can step up a full grade or two in clarity, color, or carat at the same budget. There is also no mining footprint: no displaced earth, no community-impact concerns, and a substantially smaller carbon profile. Both types of stones we sell are independently graded and conflict-free.
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds. Moissanite (silicon carbide) and cubic zirconia (zirconium dioxide) are different materials that look diamond-like but score lower on hardness (Moissanite 9.25, CZ 8.5 vs. diamond's 10), display a different kind of sparkle (moissanite has a noticeable 'rainbow' fire), and have different optical and thermal signatures. Cubic zirconia in particular clouds and dulls over time; diamond does not. A jeweler can tell the difference instantly with a diamond tester — but on a certificate, only a lab-grown diamond reads as a diamond.
To achieve our "Twin" Standard. In traditional mined diamonds, finding identical stones for a single piece is nearly impossible, leading to inconsistencies in light return. Our lab-grown process allows us to hand-select and color-match stones for perfect uniformity, a level of "icy-white fire" that mined diamonds simply cannot replicate at this scale. This becomes important in pavé settings and studs where identical light return is of utmost importance.
Lab-grown diamonds are intended to be worn and treasured, not traded. Like fine watches, mined diamonds, designer handbags, or new cars, most jewelry loses a meaningful portion of its original retail price the moment it leaves the store — and lab-grown diamonds are no exception. They can be appraised at full replacement value for insurance, and Amorati pieces hold their sentimental value indefinitely. We're transparent about resale: we recommend buying a lab-grown diamond because you love it, not as an investment. The upside is you can afford a far more beautiful stone for the same budget than you could mined.
Yes. A standard thermal diamond tester reads lab-grown diamonds as real diamonds because they have the same thermal conductivity as mined stones. The only way to distinguish lab-grown from mined is with specialized equipment that detects trace differences in growth structure. To a jeweler, a customs agent, an insurer, or an appraiser, your Amorati lab-grown stone reads simply as: diamond.
Yes. Our Diamond Buying Guide walks you through the 4Cs — cut, color, clarity, and carat — the four factors that determine a diamond's beauty and price. It also includes our recommended grade ranges so you can shop confidently without overspending on specs the eye can't see.
Every mined diamond we sell is conflict-free and traceable. We source exclusively through partners who comply with our supplier code of conduct, which requires documented chain-of-custody, fair labor practices, and verifiable origin. For customers who want maximum transparency, our lab-grown collection eliminates mining entirely. Learn more aboutAmorati's ethical standards.
Yes. Every lab-grown diamond we sell is independently graded by the International Gemological Institute (IGI), the leading lab for lab-grown certification. Every engagement ring and diamond stud arrives with its grading report, which documents the stone's cut, color, clarity, carat weight, polish, symmetry, fluorescence, and laser-inscribed report number. Mined diamond engagement stones are graded by IGI or GIA.
Both IGI and GIA are independent, internationally recognized diamond grading laboratories that specialize in different parts of the market. GIA (Gemological Institute of America) pioneered the 4Cs grading system and is widely considered the benchmark for mined diamond certification. IGI (International Gemological Institute) is the world's leading certifier for lab-grown diamonds, grading them to the same rigorous standards and objective criteria. At Amorati, every lab-grown diamond is IGI-certified, and mined engagement stones are graded by IGI or GIA. Either way, what you receive is an independent, third-party assessment of your stone's cut, color, clarity, and carat weight from a lab, not a retailer. When you're investing in a piece you'll wear for a lifetime, that accountability matters.
Gentle is best. Fill a small bowl with warm water and a few drops of mild dish soap, soak your piece for 10–15 minutes, then brush gently with a soft toothbrush — paying extra attention to the back of the setting where light enters the stone. Rinse, then pat dry with a lint-free cloth. Skip harsh chemicals (chlorine, bleach, acetone) and at-home ultrasonic cleaners, which can loosen settings. For deep cleaning or annual prong checks, bring it to a professional jeweler.
Wear it often, style it your way, and let it catch the light (and compliments). Tag @amorativault on Instagram and TikTok — we love seeing how you wear yours.
To help you find your size before you buy, we offer a complimentaryring sizer. Standard, in-stock rings can be resized within 60 days for a small handling fee (most ring styles can move up to two sizes; some eternity and pavé designs are not resizable). Custom-made rings and rings already resized once are considered final sale. If you're unsure about your size, our Concierge can walk you through measuring at home.
You don't have to. Our Concierge bring the experience to you — personalized guidance, side-by-side comparisons, and styling tips, all from the comfort of home. And with our 30-Day Love-It Guarantee and free returns, you can be certain you'll love your new ring. Review our return policy for full details.
Most pavé settings prioritize lightness to save on gold costs, resulting in fragile jewelry. Amorati pieces are engineered with Light-Armor:
- Substantial Weight: Each setting is anchored in a minimum of 0.8g of 14K gold.
- Structural Integrity: We don't just "set" diamonds; we architect them into a weighted, durable frame designed to carry the momentum of your daily life.
- Seamless Finish: Our specialists hand-match every stone to ensure zero "warmth" or dullness across the entire piece.
Every piece we create is a testament to the Amorati Standard. While others settle for average, we prove that the smallest details carry the greatest legacy. We treat our smallest stones with the same reverence as a center solitaire, ensuring your jewelry radiates a seamless, uninterrupted glow.
Customization
Yes. Many Amorati pieces can be made uniquely yours. Some styles allow you to choose stones or add gemstones, while others can be engraved after purchase. Customization options are noted directly on each product page, and our Virtual Stylists are always available to guide you through the process.
Delivery times depend on the piece. In-stock items ship within 2 business days. Made-to-Order designs typically ship within 14 business days, though intricate styles may take 4–6 weeks. Fully custom pieces are quoted on a per-design basis after consultation. Each product page shows the production estimate for that specific style, and you'll receive a confirmation email with your expected ship date once your order is placed.
Amorati Pavé
Derived from the French word for "paved," a pavé setting consists of small, brilliant-cut diamonds set closely together, separated by minimal beads of precious metal. The goal is to create a continuous surface of "paved" brilliance where the metal seemingly disappears, leaving only a shimmering "wall of light."
In the traditional jewelry industry, pavé stones are often treated as "commercial grade" leftovers — rarely held to individual grading standards and often showing visible yellow tints (G-J range) or dull spots.
The House of Amorati rejects this compromise. We exclusively source High-Colorless (F-Grade) parcels. By utilizing our Colorless VS+ Standard, we ensure every stone is eye-clean and icy-white, eliminating the "patchy" look found in standard pavé.
Financing & Payment
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, PayPal, and Amorati gift certificates. For purchases over $500, financing is available through Klarna.

Warranty & Lifetime Care
Yes. Every Amorati piece comes with a two-year Amorati Product Warranty that covers defects in craftsmanship. Specifically: clasps, chains, or settings that break due to a manufacturing defect; stones that loosen or fall out because of a structural flaw; and precious metal that discolors or weakens before its time.
What's not covered: natural signs of love and wear (scratches, dents, tarnish from everyday life), damage from misuse (chemicals, pools, accidental hard knocks), loss or theft, and any breakage from using non-Amorati charms, attachments, or modifications. The warranty applies to pieces purchased through Amorati or an authorized retailer. Read the full warranty policy for details.
Yes — we recommend insuring any Amorati piece valued over $1,000. Our pieces ship with an IGI grading report (or appraisal on request) that documents replacement value, which you can submit to your jewelry insurer. Many homeowner's policies also offer a jewelry rider.
Returns
We want you to love what you wear, so every Amorati piece is backed by our 30-Day Love-It Guarantee. If you're not obsessed within 30 days of delivery, send it back for a full refund or exchange — free, fully insured return shipping included. Custom and resized rings, engraved pieces, and final-sale items are excluded. See the full return policy for details.
